Mollie Parrish returns to Denison as an assistant coach in 2006-2007 bringing with her 4 years of college coaching experience.

Upon graduating from Denison in 2002 with a B.S. in biology, Mollie headed to Wesleyan University in Connecticut as an assistant coach. During her four years with the Cardinals Parrish helped the Cardinals improve their dual meet records and NESCAC conference standings each year. She also coached two All-Americans, several Academic All-Americans, and many All NESCAC performances and All-Academic NESCAC athletes. In addition to coaching, Parrish earned her M.A. in Liberal Studies, coached the Cardinal Masters Swim Team, and served in various positions in the Athletic Department including Assistant Facility Manager and Construction Project Intern. For the past 4 years Mollie has been coached age-group swimmers at the Cardinal Swim Camps and several Nike Swim camps in New England.

While at Denison, Mollie became one of the college's most improved swimmers, specializing in the fly and free. During her four years, she earned 20 All-America honors, won seven national titles, set three NCAA Division III records, and was rewarded an NCAA post-graduate scholarship.. In 2001, she helped the Big Red win their first NCAA crown, upsetting perennial favorite Kenyon. That year, Mollie was honored as NCAA Division III Swimmer of the Year. She also was a Verizon/CoSIDA second-team. In addition to her swimming activity, Mollie was a member of the NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), an Anderson Summer Scholar,  Omnicron Delta Kappa (senior leadership group), the orientation staff and the senior class gift committee at Denison.
